Established in 2007, Dream Theatre Productions is a private, nonprofit 501(c)3 Florida Corporation created to promote, nurture and encourage the growth and prestige of Hispanic theatre , with a strong desire to preserve and present Classic and Contemporary Theatre plays in Spanish, allowing our growing Latin and Spanish speaking audience as well as our bilingual youth to be exposed to classic and new theatre. Arts and culture have the capacity to uplift our lives and spirit. They connect us to places, to history, to communities, and to one another.

We are focused on developing projects that explore different heritages, identities and beliefs -- with a focus on the Hispanic culture and language. Our mission is to collaborate with like minded individuals, to respectfully portray truthful stories and to posititively shape and contribute to our multi-faceted society.

Fabián de Cárdenas, Artistic Director and Actor
Fabian has had the opportunity to portray several challenging and diverse characters --Christian in Cyrano de Bergerac, Demetrio in Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet to name a few. He participated in the New Theatre's Miami Stories in 2008 and is currently producing his third Miami production Marea Roja.
Through his involvement with groups and universities from Ecuador to Miami, Florida, Fabián’s training is worldwide as well. Although he gives credit to Malayerba Grupo de Teatro for granting him the ability to “see society” and the basis of his formation as an actor, Florida International University has helped solidify his knowledge of the theatre and given him additional knowledge and perspective.
